Diminishing rainfall has decreased flooding across several Sonoma County roads but many rural stretches remained closed Thursday morning, the CHP said.

They included:

Rohnert Park Expressway at Stony Point Road;

Slusser Road at River Road;

Wohler Road north of River Road, at Mark West Creek;

Sanford Road at Occidental Road;

Green Valley Road at Atascadero Creek, west of Highway 116;

Llano Road between Highway 116 and Todd Road;

Mark West Station Road at Starr Road;

Old Monte Rio just east of Santa Rosa Avenue (long-term closure).

Highway 128 north of Clvoerdale also remained closed due to a mudslide and was expected to be remain so through Friday, CHP Officer Jon Sloat said.

Highway 121 at Broadway in Schellville has reopened after being closed and reopened several times during the past several days.

Highway 175 in Hopland also remained closed due to flooding, the CHP said.

Sonoma County road crews were on road patrol Thursday morning and expected to have an update on county road closures around 10 a.m.
