Will Dunbar has been appointed food and beverage director at River Rock Casino. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is an accredited sommelier. His experience includes time in Marshall as general manager of Nick's Cove & Cottages and in Las Vegas at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino and at The Palms' Fantasy Tower.

Dr. Brad Drexler is opening a new satellite office in Santa Rosa, at the offices of Spring Creek Family Practice, 1144 Sonoma Ave. Dr. Drexler is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist and has been practicing in Healdsburg for 19 years.

Linda Wilson has been named assistant vice president of Exchange Bank. She started with the company in 2005 as a project management office manager, bringing more than 20 years of experience in information technology.

Beth Jacobs, H.R. generalist in the bank's Human Resources department, was certified Professional in Human Resource Management in Sonoma County. Jacobs has been with Exchange Bank for two years.

Dr. Stanley Jacobs will present his medical paper, "Facial Skin Visco-elasticity Measurements After Topical Mandelic Acid," at the annual American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery conference, held Sept. 23-25 in Boston. He operates surgery centers in Healdsburg and San Francisco.

Diego Barison has joined Novavine Grapevine Nursery in Santa Rosa as the company's liaison with its Italian partner, Vivai Cooperativi Rauscedo, among other things. Barison has an MS in Agroecology from the University of Tuscia, Italy.

The local Red Cross, which serves Sonoma and Mendocino counties, has named new leaders to its board of directors: Eileen Adams, 45-year volunteer, chairwoman; Robert Cantu, Western Builders, first vice-chairman; Shawn Hoover, Pacific Gas & Electric, second vice-chairman; Tyler Comstock, Jackson Family Wines, third vice-chairman; Marion Maassen, Medtronic, treasurer; and Bill Newlin, retired, secretary.

New board members are Andy Bannister, Earthtone Construction; Tyler Comstock, Jackson Family Wines; Stacy Drucker-Andress, Agilent Technologies; Cindy Gillespie, Amy's Kitchen; Mike Purvis, Sutter Medical Center; Greg Retsinas, The Press Democrat.

Michael Sommer has been appointed as manager of Frank Howard Allen's Petaluma office. He joined the firm's San Anselmo office in 1976, and in the late 1980s managed the its College Avenue office in Santa Rosa. In 1998, he was inducted into the company's Lifetime Hall of Fame.

Jane Doroff, director of senior meals for the Council on Aging, has been elected to the Meals on Wheels Association of America Board of Directors. She brings more than 25 years in food service.
