VIDEO: Dead Fort Bragg blue whale is still there

  • 10/22/2009:A1: Humboldt State University students Tuesday inspect a 72-foot, female blue whale that washed ashore Monday just south of Fort Bragg. A Humboldt State expert estimated the whale weighed more than 50 tons.

    PC: A blue whale, likely struck and killed by a survey vessel Monday, Oct. 19, along the Mendocino Coast, was evaluated by Humboldt State University students. The whale will be left where itÊis.
