Jeff Wesselkamper has been promoted to the new position of executive vice president, chief legal officer and secretary for both Jackson Family Enterprises and Jackson Family Wines. He joined the Santa Rosa company in 1997, most recently serving as senior vice president and general counsel.

Jim Sweeney has joined Vintage Wine Estates as executive vice president of sales, based in its Santa Rosa office. Previously, he was founding partner at Huneeus Vintners and senior vice president of sales at Icon Estates.

Mark Chapman has joined Redwood Credit Union as assistant vice president of marketing and communications. He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently overseeing marketing and corporate communications at Tamalpais Bank.

Sheri Cardo has joined the board of directors at Rohnert Park public-TV station KRCB. She is director of communications for the Sonoma Land Trust.

Creative Environments, a Sebastopol landscape company, recently received the Overall Sweepstakes Award from the North Coast Chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association for its installation at the Medlock Ames Tasting Room in Alexander Valley. Creative Environments is owned by Harry North, who founded the company in 1978.

Attorney Samuel T. Crump has joined the litigation team at Smith Dollar PC, a Santa Rosa real estate and financial services law firm. He served two terms in the Arizona House of Representatives and is a former mayor of Sebastopol.

Jay Dombrowski has joined Opperman & Son as director of new tank sales. The company, which has offices in Healdsburg and Fontana, sells and services trucks and trailers. It recently became a certified dealer for Heil Trailer International.

Michael Caselli, a Sonoma Valley real estate agent, is joining Wine Country Group Realtors. He will work in the firm's Sonoma office, which is affiliated with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.

Amir Farhid has been named senior loan agent and North Bay director of business development at the company's mortgage lending arm, which is affiliated with RPM Mortgage. Farhid joined the Wine Country Group in 2010 as director of business development.

Diana Van Winden, E. John Evans and Pamela Soekland, financial advisers with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Santa Rosa, have earned certification as Certified Financial Planners.

Bill Nordskog, a retired Agilent Technologies executive, has been named chairman of the board of directors for United Way of the Wine Country. New members include: Carmen Cervantes, a real estate agent with Century 21 Alliance; Ingrid Estrada, vice president and general manager of Agilent's Remarketing Solutions Division; Julie Paik, director of Sonoma County Child Support Services; Christina Soiland, a dental hygienist; and Marcos J. Suarez, president of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and manager at Telemundo.
