The Sonoma County Coroner has been called in to investigate the death of a Marin County man who died while incarcerated the Marin County Jail.
The 27-year-old inmate was found unresponsive in his cell at 12 p.m. Saturday. He was taken by ambulance to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Terra Linda where he was pronounced dead at 12:44 p.m., according to the Marin County Sheriff's Department.
The death is being investigated by the Sonoma County Sheriff and San Rafael Police Department.
