No injuries in Windsor school bus crash

A crash on Starr Road in Windsor early Tuesday involved a school bus full of children but no one was injured, according to initial reports.

The incident started with a minor crash between two cars on Starr Road near Robbie Way at about 7:25 a.m. The school bus driver, headed for a nearby middle school with several students on board, came upon the crash and tried to squeeze passed, said Windsor Sgt. Rob Gordon.

But the bus scraped up against one of the cars and became part of the collision.

The crash blocked Starr Road. Busy morning traffic, with schools in the neighborhood and people on their way to work, stacked up and had to be re-directed.

Two tow trucks were called to help clear the road. No ambulances or fire crews were called to the crash.
