Are tensions between cyclists, drivers getting worse?

As Sonoma County increasingly earns a reputation as a bicycling destination (think Tour of California and Levi Leipheimer's GranFondo), tensions between cyclists and motorists seem to be getting worse (or at least, more evident).

Have you had a close encounter out on the road — either on a bike or behind the wheel? Do you have an opinion on what can or should be done to make everyone feel safer and more comfortable while sharing the road?

The Press Democrat wants to hear your story for possible inclusion in a news article about the subject.

Send an email to Staff Writer Derek Moore at derek.moore@pressdemocrat.com. Please include your name and a phone number where you can be reached during the day.
