Analy High School named to Newsweek's 'Top 500' U.S. high schools list

Analy High School in Sebastopol is ranked number 184 on Newsweek magazine's list of the top U.S. high schools for 2011.

Fifty-two California schools made the list and Analy is the only one in the Redwood Empire.

Analy Principal Chris Heller said the distinction "validates the achievements of our student body and the outstanding staff members that support, educate, and inspire them" and also reflects the high degree of community support the school receives.

What's the principal's part in Analy's performance?

"My role is to show up to ensure that good people do good things each day," Heller said.
