Economists and other experts will discuss such issues as global trade, water quality and farm policy Nov. 7 at the 31st annual Agribusiness Management Conference in Fresno.
The event is sponsored by Fresno State University's Center for Agricultural Business and Bank of America, plus more than 20 supporting organizations. It is designed for farmers, farm managers, lawyers, appraisers and others involved in agribusiness.
Speakers will include Bank of America Vice President Corny Gallagher, who helps coordinate the bank's agribusiness and food products portfolio, with a strong emphasis on global marketing.
The event will be held at Fresno's Radisson Hotel and Conference Center. Registration before Nov. 1 is $100, after which the cost will rise to $125.
