A three-car crash on northbound Highway 101 Tuesday morning in Santa Rosa injured drivers and stacked up traffic near downtown, reported the CHP.

The cars all were headed north, just south of the Highway 12 interchange. Apparent inattention by one driver led to the chain-reaction crash, said the CHP.

Driver Robin Weinzveg, 60, of Petaluma briefly took her eyes off of the roadway and struck the stopped car in front of her. Weinzveg's Toyota Camry hit the Ford Explorer driven by Ashley Leveroni, 28, of Petaluma.

Leveroni's car then hit the Ford Fusion driven by Michael Havner, 53, of El Cerrito.

The wrecked cars blocked at least one highway lane and all three had to be towed away, adding to traffic delays on the highway in the area.

Havner apparently wasn't injured. Leveroni was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with possible moderate injuries.

Weinzveg went to Sutter Medical Center with apparent minor or moderate injuries.

The crash remained under investigation.
