Two Santa Rosa men found with 48 rocks of crack cocaine will be charged today with possessing drugs for sale, Santa Rosa police said.
Samuel Tewolde, 28, and Nahom Tewolde, 18, were among a group of five men who drew police to Ripley Street at about 3 p.m. Monday in west Santa Rosa, Sgt. Rich Celli said.
Officers found the drugs in two cars, one where Samuel Tewolde, who is on parole, was found and another to which he had a key, Celli said. He was with Nahom Tewolde, 18, in one of the cars, and the two men were arrested on suspicion of drug sales, Celli said.
It wasn't clear Tuesday if the Tewoldes are related.
Three other Santa Rosa men were found with prescription narcotics and were arrested: Leonard Roubidoux, 18; Alex Haile-Tekeste, 20; and Ermyas Zeweldi, 19.
