Farmers, certified crop advisers and others can receive continuing education credits at a pesticide applicator workshop Nov. 7 at the Sonoma County Farm Bureau.

Topics will include pest management utilizing falcons and barn owls. The workshop also will cover new pests expected in the region, as well as regulations related to ground water protection.

The workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at the farm bureau office, 970 Piner Road. Cost is $55 per person for those who register by Oct. 30 and $65 after that date. To register, contact Anita Hawkins at the farm bureau, 544-5575.
