<b>Quarterbacks: D</b> Whether it was due to a sore middle finger or a series of bad reads, Alex Smith threw 3 interceptions.

<b>Running Backs: B</b> Frank Gore had 8 attempts for 36 yards at halftime — and didn't get another carry.

<b>Receivers: C</b> Decent games for Mario Manningham (5 catches, 72 yards) and Randy Moss (2 for 75).

<b>Offensive Line: D </b>A week after dominating the Bills, this unit was entirely overmatched by the Giants' active front four.

<b>Defensive Line: C </b>Justin (Killer) Smith had eight tackles, but where was the pass rush?

<b>Linebackers: C </b>NaVorro Bowman (9) and Patrick Willis (8) combined for 17 tackles, but where was the run defense?

<b>Defensive Backs: D </b>The cornerbacks got picked on, especially Chris Culliver and Tarell Brown.

<b>Special Teams: D </b>Bad kickoff coverage, two missed field goals and a penalty that extended a New York drive.

<b>Coaching/Overall: D </b>This is no way to win the NFC.
