A 300-acre wildfire outside the Lake County community of Lower Lake was 90 percent contained Saturday morning and it was expected to be fully contained Sunday, Cal Fire officials said.

The "29 Fire" is burning at Highway 29 and Perini Road south of Lower Lake.

So far it has burned one residence, 11 vehicles and 12 pieces of equipment since it started at 2:44 a.m. Thursday.

The fire is being fought by 363 firefighters with 32 engines, an air tanker, two helicopters, three dozers and five water tenders.

Murphy Springs Road remains closed.
