With the help of a device that produced loud noise and bright light, a special investigations team this week arrested three suspected drug dealers at a Napa shopping center.
The three men, two of them from Sonoma, had gone Tuesday to the South Napa Market Place parking lot on Soscol Avenue for a drug deal, according to a press release from the Napa Special Investigations Bureau, a collection of seven law enforcement agencies.
Police this month had been investigating the three and were on hand at the center. To help in the arrest, officers used a "distraction device" to make the noise and light.
Arrested on suspicion of sale and transport of 2 pounds of methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit a crime were Nicanor Silva, 35, and Fidel Espinoza Hurtado, 23, both of Sonoma; and Aurora Marin, 41, of San Jose.
