A CHP officer stopped a driver early Monday on Highway 29 near Lakeport for weaving and found the woman to be under the influence of drugs and possessing a variety of drugs, reported the CHP.

Driver Laura Long, 41, of Lakeport had a marijuana pipe next to her leg on the driver's seat and an undisclosed amount of marijuana and methamphetamine in the car, said the CHP.

She was arrested after the 12:15 a.m. stop near Highland Springs Road.

A Nice man was arrested early Saturday after he crashed his BMW while driving on Highway 29 near Mockingbird Lane.

At about 4 a.m. Klynt Lowrie, 22, drove off of the highway, hit a dirt embankment and flipped the 1994 car.

CHP initially reported that the driver, Lowrie, was injured, but subsequently reported it was his passenger, Nicholle Goeken, 30, of Lakeport who was hurt.

Goeken had cuts and complained of neck and back pain and was flown by REACH medical helicopter to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, said the CHP.

Officers determined Lowrie was intoxicated at the time of the crash, the CHP reported.
