Approximately 8,100 secured tax bills sent to residents in the Healdsburg Unified School District had a minor typographical error describing a tax charge, Sonoma County officials reported.

The bills contained an incorrect description for the 2003 Healdsburg Unified Bond charge. On the bills containing the error, the line item stating the "Geyserville Unified Bond" charge should have read as the "2003 Healdsburg Unified Bond debt" service charge.

All tax rates and amounts on the bills are correct and the typographical error has since been corrected in the property tax system, David Sundstrom, the county's auditor-controller-treasurer-tax collector said in a written statement.
