A search of a Redwood Valley home by Mendocino County sheriff's deputies produced 187 marijuana plants, 70 pounds of harvested marijuana and 100 pounds of packaged marijuana, sheriff's officials Tuesday.

Deputies arrested Melanie Hargis, 29, suspecting her of a variety of marijuana- and drug-related charges.

They later arrested Jedidiah Jones, 33, when he showed up at the Mendocino County Jail to bail Hargis out of custody, said officials.

Deputies searched their Pepperwood Court home on Sunday. During the search, they also found a small amount of suspected narcotics in the house.

The two were on probation for drug-related offenses, officials said.
