This was the 49ers' first tie at Candlestick Park since 1972, and their 14th since joining the NFL in 1950. The split result preserved San Francisco's winning record against the long-time rival Rams, now at 62-61-3.

The Niners have not lost in 12 consecutive home games against NFC West opponents, the longest active streak in the NFL.

Amendola (11 catches, 102 yards) had his second 100-yard game in the NFL. He had missed St. Louis' past three games with a shoulder injury.
