A 28-year-old man was found stabbed and beaten early Wednesday in Sonoma.
Austin Ridge was taken to a hospital after a newspaper delivery person found him lying on the ground in the 18000 block of Lucas Avenue.
Ridge was bleeding from multiple stab wounds and a head injury, sheriff's Sgt. Carlos Basurta said.
His condition was not immediately available.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about the assault to contact Det. Shannon McAlvain at 565-2121.
