Beth Brown has been appointed president and CEO of Community Foundation Sonoma County, succeeding Barbara Hughes, who is retiring at year's end. Previously, Brown served as a vice president at the Marin Community Foundation and worked in private banking at Bank of America.

LuAnn Scally has joined 5th Street Financial Mortgage Company in Santa Rosa as sales manager and senior mortgage loan officer. Previously, she was a sales manager and mortgage loan officer with Bank of America Home Loans.

Colleen Ryan has joined Wells Fargo Insurance Services in Petaluma as an account executive in personal lines. Ryan has been in the insurance field for more than 20 years, most recently with Milt Brandt General Insurance in Healdsburg.

Kathleen M. Anderson, a licensed marriage and family therapist, has joined the staff at Olympia House, a drug and alcohol treatment center in Petaluma operated by Sonoma Recovery Services. Previously she was director of the Campobello intensive outpatient treatment center in Sonoma County.

Cyan has added four sales executives to target international markets for the Petaluma networking equipment company:

Paul Couturier, vice president and general manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Previously, he served as vice president of sales at BlueCat Networks and held executive positions at TippingPoint, Siemens and Efficient Networks.

Mike Scheck, vice president for Latin America. Previously he served as president of international sales at Zhone Technologies and has held executive positions at Lucent Technologies, Ascend Communications, ACC and US West.

Andy Wu, vice president for North Asia and Japan. Previously, he served as regional vice president of Symantec Greater China and held positions at Cisco China, 3Com North Asia and AT&T-GIS/NCR Taiwan.

Chris Jacobson, vice president for Southeast Asia. Previously, he worked at IBM, Amdahl, Alcatel, Cisco, 3Com, RealNetworks and Checkpoint.
