More than 400 PG&E customers lost power Monday near Strawberry Park in Santa Rosa's Bennett Valley area because of a fire in an underground utility vault, Sonoma County dispatchers said.
The fire was reported at 9:04 p.m. near Summerfield Road and Horseshoe Drive and crews quickly had it under control, dispatchers said.
But 416 customers remained without power at 10 p.m., according to PG&E's online "power outage" map. It wasn't clear when power might be restored.
