Minor injuries after truck hits woman in Santa Rosa

A female pedestrian suffered minor injuries Saturday evening when she was struck by a pickup pulling into a shopping center in Santa Rosa.

The woman was walking on the sidewalk and was struck by the pickup as it pulled into the parking lot in the 2300 block of Mendocino Avenue.

The vehicle was traveling at a slow speed and the woman was not seriously hurt, police and fire officials said.

She was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital as a precaution.

The driver of the pickup, whose name was not disclosed, stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials. Police said they were not investigating the crash further.
