Quarterbacks: B

Colin Kaepernick looked like the game manager this time — until he won the game with a 50-yard run.

Running Backs: A

The numbers weren't huge, but Frank Gore and understudy LaMichael James were tough and nimble.

Receivers: C

Michael Crabtree (9 catches, 93 yards) was a one-man receiving corps at times.

Offensive Line: C

As good as the line was in run blocking, RT Anthony Davis couldn't pass-protect against Cameron Wake.

Defensive Line: B

Strong game for Justin Smith, but the line did not always hold its ground against the run.

Linebackers: A

Aldon Smith (2 sacks) continues his assault on the record books.

Defensive Backs: B

Besides a couple penalties, it was a pretty good day for the secondary, especially Chris Culliver.

Special Teams: B

C.J. Spillman's fumble recovery on a punt outweighed poor coverage on the ensuing kickoff.

Coaching/Overall: B

A win is a win is a win — but this one wasn't impressive enough to earn an A.
