River Road in Guerneville opened to directed traffic after being closed for hours early Tuesday due to fallen power and phone lines from a car crash.

Crews blocked off the road between Highway 116, also known as Pocket Canyon Highway, and Bonita Avenue.

Just after 8 a.m. the CHP reported traffic was being allowed through one lane around the closure.

Traffic headed for Guerneville was being moved to nearby Old River Road. Traffic heading toward Santa Rosa was being guided onto Highway 116.
