Continuing rains brought water up over several roadways late Friday and early Saturday morning, flooding several intersections on the list of "usual suspects."

They include areas of Highways 12 and 121 south of Sonoma, in the Schellville area, CHP and fire personnel said.

The water came up around high tide after 8 a.m. Saturday morning, a Schell Vista firefighter said, cutting off Highway 121 at Highway 116, Highway 12 and Eighth Street East, the CHP said.

Highway 12 at Watmaugh Road also was closed due to flooding, the CHP said.

Highway 175 in Hopland reopened Saturday morning after a 24-hour closure caused by flooding along the Russian River, the CHP said.

Caltrans also lifted a closure at 3:11 a.m. on Highway 1 at the Garcia River near Manchester, authorities said.

Highway 128 along the Navarro River near the Mendocino Coast was being monitored but had not been closed during Friday's heavy rains, CHP personnel said.
