At least one person was arrested following a police chase Thursday that began in Santa Rosa, went through Cotati and ended with a suspect crashing his car in Rohnert Park.

Speeds topped 70 mph as what were believed to be two suspects in a black Honda Accord fled Santa Rosa police, with Cotati police, the CHP and Sonoma County sheriff's helicopter Henry 1 joining the chase, according to emergency dispatch.

The pursuit lasted about 30 minutes and ended when the suspect crashed his car at Rohnert Park Expressway and Commerce Boulevard. There was no information provided on injuries, but authorities said two suspects were arrested.

During the pursuit, one of the suspects may have tossed something out of the car, according to dispatch.
