The Palm Drive Health Care District will be hosting the second of four planned meetings in Sebastopol on Monday in an effort to get feedback from the public on what health care services it can provide to the community in the wake of the closing of Palm Drive Hospital.
The board scheduled the meetings after it was forced to close Palm Drive Hospital at the end of March after years of financial troubles. The board has been looking at several options to replace the hospital. The health care district is paid for by a tax on West County residents.
Monday's meeting will be at the Sebastopol Youth Annex at 25 Morris Street. There will also be meetings held July 10 at Guerneville Veterans Memorial Building and July 12 at the Sebastopol Youth Annex Bldg. For more information, visit the Palm Drive website at www.palmdrivehospital.com.
