If you're a writer, you are no doubt preparing for the next two days off work when you can buckle down and hit the keyboards on your way towards literary fame. Writer's block? Those words aren't even in your vocabulary!
Of course, just in case you need a little kickstart to your weekend of prose and pure creativity, Petals and Bones has put together a Friday night of pen-happy fun.
On Fri., Aug. 2, the writing workshop will meet at Jack and Tony's Whisky Bar in Santa Rosa's Railroad Square from 5-7:30 p.m. They'll bring the writing prompts, you bring a few bones for workshop price plus a pint or two (or any other libation or sustenance you desire). And then kick back with pen in hand for a stimulating night of writing with abandon.
Because they can only accommodate eight people, RSVP is required, and soon. Cost is $15-$25 sliding scale (not including food or drink). Bring your pen and paper.
Other workshops planned for Sept. 6 and Oct. 4.
