The 29th annual Chefs' Holidays will take place amid the wintry serenity of Yosemite National Park over the course of eight sessions from Jan. 12 to Feb. 6.
Each session features a different lineup of celebrity chefs from the Bay Area and beyond.
Guests will be greeted with a "meet the chefs" reception and take part in cooking demonstrations and tastings, a behind-the-scenes kitchen tour and a five-course gala dinner in The Ahwahnee Hotel's Grand Dining Room.
Here are some of the highlights of the series:
On Jan. 22-23, the theme is "TV's Rockin' Women Chefs," starring Elizabeth Falkner of "The Next Iron Chef," Ariana Duarte of "Top Chef" and Amanda Freitag of "Chopped" on the Food Network.
On Feb. 2-4, guest chefs include David Bazirgan of The Fifth Floor in San Francisco, Annie Somerville of Greens in San Francisco and Peter Chastain of Prima in Walnut Creek.
Two- and three-night packages are available at either The Ahwahnee or Yosemite Lodge at the Falls and range from $332 to $574 per person. For reservations, call 801-559-4884 or go to yosemitepark.com/chefs.
