SAN RAFAEL — A 17-year-old Marin County boy charged in a drive-by shooting and the theft of Santa Rosa celebrity chef Guy Fieri's Lamborghini has postponed his plea entry for at least a month.
Max Wade is charged as an adult with attempted murder, vehicle theft and other counts.
His attorney, Charles Dresow, said Thursday he plans to try moving the case to juvenile court.
Authorities say Wade shot at a former high school classmate and his girlfriend in Mill Valley on April 13. That investigation led authorities to Wade's storage container in Richmond, where they found Food Network star Guy Fieri's stolen yellow Lamborghini.
Wade remains in custody on $2 million bail. The judge ordered him back to court on June 20.
Prosecutors say the investigation into other possible crimes involving the teen is ongoing.
