Officials revoke permit of San Francisco nightclub where 3 shot

SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco officials have revoked the permit of a nightclub where three people were shot over the weekend.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/Ztbsne ) the city's Entertainment Commission pulled the permit of the club called 330 Ritch, making it unlikely the nightclub would reopen.

Police say when they arrived at the nightclub around 1:30 a.m. Saturday they found three men had been wounded by gunfire. One the men suffered what police described as critical injuries.

Jocelyn Kane, executive director of the commission, told The Chronicle that the owners of nightclub intend to sell it and the new owners are planning to turn it into a restaurant.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

The nightclub were the shooting took place is on a narrow side street, about one block from AT&T Park.
