Free holiday movies at Santa Rosa, Healdsburg theaters

For the third year, the Santa Rosa Entertainment Group will screen free holiday films all day on Dec. 17 at five local theaters.

The only requirement is that each patron bring a donation of a non-perishable food item or a new toy, which will be turned over to the Redwood Empire Food Bank and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Sonoma County for distribution. In addition, cash donations will be collected. The Santa Rosa Entertainment Group will match donations up to $1,000 at each theater, for a maximum of $5,000.?Show times are 11:30 a.m. and 2:15, 5 and 7:30 p.m. The films and theaters are:

“National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” Roxy Stadium 14, 85 Santa Rosa Ave., Santa Rosa.

“The Polar Express,” Airport Stadium, 409 Aviation Blvd., Santa Rosa.

“Four Christmases,” Summerfield Cinemas, 551 Summerfield Road, Santa Rosa.

“Jingle All the Way,” Third Street Cinemas, 620 Third St., Santa Rosa.

“Love, Actually,” Raven Film Center, 415 Center St., Healdsburg.
