The program will include a new orchestration of Gustav Mahler’s epic “Songs of a Wayfarer” by Argento Chamber Ensemble Director Michel Galante along with works by Robert Schumann, Aldo Clementi, Gyorgy Ligeti and Giancinto Scelsi.

The Trio Ariadne, whose members have served two years as artists-in-residence at the Green Music Center’s Weill Hall, includes clarinetist Carol McGonnell, pianist Elizabeth Joy Roe and cellist Saeunn Thorsteinsdottir.

The concert is free, but tickets are required. Call 664-4246 or go to tickets.sonoma.edu. Weill Hall is located at the Green Music Center at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park.

The event is part of Sonoma State University Department of Music’s spring series at the Green Music Center, including a Classical Guitar Series, a Wine Band Festival and a weekly Jazz Forum. Details at sonoma.edu/music/concert_calendar.
