Dave Chappelle ticket sales break records at Wells Fargo Center

Wells Fargo Center reported that sales for Dave Chappelle tickets set a record for most single-artist tickets ever sold at the venue.|

Tickets to see comedian Dave Chappelle's upcoming shows at the Wells Fargo Center were such fast sellers when they went on sale March 6 that the comedian ended up setting a record for single-artist ticket sales at the Santa Rosa venue.

Originally, Chappelle was slated to perform just one show on March 21 but when tickets to that performance sold out within minutes, three more shows were added to meet the growing demand.

The Wells Fargo Center ended up selling 4,493 tickets during the first 12 hours. In all, more than 5,700 tickets have been sold to all four performances.

There are still a limited number of tickets available for Chappelle's two performances on Sunday, March 22. Show times are 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.,

Tickets cost $60, and may be purchased online at wellsfargocenterarts.org, by phone at 546-3600 and in person at 50 Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa.
