Andy Lopez memorial concert Saturday in Santa Rosa

Six acts are set to honor the slain teen and raise money for his former school's music program.|

“Create Again,” a concert in honor Andy Lopez, fatally shot by a Sonoma County sheriff’s deputy in 2013, will be held Saturday, April 4, at the Arlene Francis Center in Santa Rosa.

The event is a benefit to raise funds for the music program at Cook Middle School, where the 13-year-old Lopez played trumpet.

Musical acts lined up for the show include Alex Mass of the Black Angels, BC Fitzpatrick, Darwin, Silent Pictures, Survival Guide and Ashley Allred.

The concert starts at 6 p.m. at the center, 99 Sixth St. Admission costs $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
