The Napa Valley Film Festival (NVFF) has been nominated at one of USA Today's 10 Best Film Festivals as part of its 10 Best Readers Choice awards.

The relatively new festival was among 10 nominees from across the nation, including the well-known Sundance, South by Southwest and Telluride film festivals.

'We absolutely could never have pulled off our first four film festivals without the support of our community,' said NVFF Co-Founder/Director Brenda Lhormer. 'We are so grateful for our partners.'

Local fans of the festival can cast votes each day on a computer, tablet or mobile phone at 10best.com/awards. The last day to vote is April 13 at noon, and winners will be announced on April 15.

The 5th annual Napa Valley Film Festival will be held Nov. 11 to 15 at cities throughout the Napa Valley. Passes are on sale now at nvff.org.
