Summer Repertory Theatre tickets for 44th seasonon sale now

Summer Repertory Theater will present five plays from June 19 through Aug. 8 on the SRJC campus.|

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 1, for the 44th season of Summer Repertory Theatre at Santa Rosa Junior College.

Five plays will be presented in rotation from June 19 through Aug. 8 in Burbank Auditorium and Newman Auditorium on the Santa Rosa campus:

“South Pacific,” the 1949 Broadway musical set during World War II by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II.

“Jane Austen’s Emma,” Michael Bloom’s adaptation of Austen’s 1815 novel.

“Peter and the Starcatcher,” based on a 2006 best-selling children’s novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, which provides a back story for Peter Pan.

“Tartuffe,” the 17th-century satire about a religious hypocrite, by Moliere.

“Little Shop of Horrors,” the comedy horror rock musical by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, based on the 1960 low-budget film.
