Country music star Merle Haggard has reversed his earlier decision to cancel his concert Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Santa Rosa’s Wells Fargo Center, and will perform at 8 p.m. as originally scheduled.

Haggard had announced the cancellation Thursday of the Wells Fargo Center show, along with the rest of his February tour, citing a recent bout of double pneumonia.

“Mr. Haggard received some medical care earlier this week, responded positively to the treatment and looks forward to seeing his fans next Wednesday at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts,” said a statement released Friday by his management.
