Sonoma County-filmed Netflix series '13 Reasons Why' debuts official trailer
The official trailer for the new Netflix series "13 Reasons Why" is out and Sonoma County residents may recognize a location or two.
The 13-episode series, based on the wildly popular book of the same name by Jay Asher, filmed at Sebastopol's Analy High School in June.
The story revolves around a shoebox of cassettes from a girl who explains to 13 people how they each played a role in driving her to commit suicide.
It was produced by singer Selena Gomez and her mom, Mandy Teefey. Gomez shared a sneak peak of the show on Instagram in June, calling it her "passion project."
