Netflix's '13 Reasons Why' holding Bay Area casting call

If you loved "13 Reasons Why" here's your chance to be a part of the popular Netflix series as it returns to Sebastopol to film its second season.

Casting agents are looking for "real people" who appear high-school aged to play high school students, baseball players, track and field athletes, cheerleaders and boxers. They are also looking for people of any age to play parents, teachers and coffee shop patrons.

The casting call for actors, extras and stand-ins for SAG and non-union positions will be held in Vallejo on Sunday, June 4 at the USA World Classics Museum (1525 Sonoma St.) from 11 a.m.-3 p.m, according to a press release. The series, based on Jay Asher's 2007 novel about a teenage girl's suicide, will be filmed in and around Sebastopol, San Rafael and Vallejo.

All ages, types and ethnicities are encouraged to attend.

Those attending should dress casually, come as you usually look and bring a bring a nonreturnable photo or headshot and resume. Men trying out for rolls as high school students should come clean shaven.

Those under 18 should come with a California Entertainment Work Permit available here.

The show filmed part of its first season at Sebastopol's Analy High School.
