There's lots of fun headed our way this weekend! First up is the Healdsburg Jazz Festival, taking place at a variety of venues throughout Healdsburg over the next week. Also happening is the Great Russian River Race at Johnson's Beach. Plus, there's the High Times US Cannabis Cup at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. All this and more is in our list of thigns to do.

June 2-11
Healdsburg Jazz Fest: Starting this week, the Healdsburg Jazz Festival kicks off with the Dave Stryker Quartet at the Paul Mahder Gallery this Friday, then continues with The Heath Brothers and Bobby Hutcherson Tribute Band on Saturday and the Pacific Mambo Orchestra on Sunday at Jackson Theater. Friday, June 2
McKenna Faith Album Release Party: Country star McKenna Faith may have moved to Nashville from Sonoma County, but her heart will always belong to her hometown. That’s why she’ll be back this Friday to celebrate the release of her new album. Come to the Rio Nido Roadhouse for a night of music and celebration. Doors open at 6 p.m., and cover is $10. June 2-4
Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival: Sonoma Raceway is hosting historic car races all weekend long, with qualifying races on Friday and Saturday, and the feature race on Sunday. There will also be a Historic Race Car Festival on the Sonoma Plaza Saturday night, 5:30-7:30 p.m., featuring a ceremonial lap around the square before cars go on display on the Plaza. Saturday, June 3
Great Russian River Race: This Saturday, take part or cheer on the Great Russian River Race, a 4-8 mile course for paddlers who like having fun. The race starts at 11 a.m., starting and ending at Johnson’s Beach. Following is a free River Race Party from noon to 4 p.m., with live music, food trucks and beer, a costume contest and an award ceremony. Find out all the details at greatrussianriverrace.com.

Saturday, June 3
Sonoma County Trail Challenge: This Saturday, Sonoma County is taking part in National Trails Day with a fun run and party at Ragle Ranch Regional Park in Sepbastopol. The event includes a scavenger hunk, hike, live music, local food and more. The run/walk starts at 10 a.m., and other activities take place throughout the day. June 3-4
High Times US Cannabis Cup: This weekend, the High Times trade show and Cannabis Cup will be held at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. The show features a medical cannabis competition, a vape lounge, edibles village and more, plus live music from 311, The Wailers, Sublime with Rome and more. Tickets are $50-$420. Art at the Source Open Studio Tour: More than 120 artists have opened their doors in the 23rd open studio tour in western Sonoma County. The tour takes place this Saturday and Sunday, as well as June 10-11. Find out all the details at artatthesource.org.

Bennett Valley BBQ Picnic: This Sunday is the 145th Annual Bennett Valley Picnic at the Bennett Valley Guild Hall.
