Kim Kardashian, Kanye West reportedly hire surrogate to carry third child

Reality star Kim Kardashian and rapper husband Kanye West have hired a surrogate to carry their third child, according to TMZ and multiple other media outlets.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has been public about her desire for another child despite suffering from placenta accreta during her last pregnancy. The painful condition is one in which the placenta grows into the walls of the womb and prevents it from easily detaching at the time of birth.

Kardashian, who married West in 2014, is already mother to 4-year-old daughter North and 18-month-old son Saint.
