There's plenty of fun events happening this weekend! On Saturday and Sunday, the 44th annual Gravenstein Apple Fair is coming to Ragle Ranch. The Schulz Museum is celebrating their 15th anniversary this Saturday. Plus, find all your back-to-school fashion plus a furry new friend at the Mutts & Models Fashion Show at the Santa Rosa Plaza. Aug. 12-13
Gravenstein Apple Fair: In its 44th year, the sweetest little fair in Sonoma County continues its tradition this weekend with live music, cooking demonstrations, family fun and, of course, Gravenstein apples at Ragle Ranch in Sebastopol. Saturday, Aug. 12
Charles Schulz Museum 15th Anniversary: Celebrate the Schulz Museum’s 15th birthday with a day of cartooning events, including Jeff Smith, creator of the award-winning comic book series “Bone.” The museum opens at 10 a.m., with feature events happening throughout the day. Saturday, Aug. 12
City Kids Festival: This Saturday, low-income families are invited to Juilliard Park in Santa Rosa to help get their kids ready for school. The event will include free backpacks and school supplies, plus food, activities and more. Registration is required to receive backpacks and supplies. Railroad Square Sidewalk Sale: This weekend, the shops in Railroad Square throw open their doors and head for the sidewalks with deals for the latest fashions, antiques, furnishings, art pieces and more. All the details are at railroadsquare.net.

Sonoma County VegFest: The 4th annual VegFest is coming to the Luther Burbank Center this Saturday for a day of healthy eating based on vegetables. Mutts & Models Fashion Show: Just in time for school is a fashion show that pairs this year’s fashions with the most adorable puppies. Models will take to the runway in the latest back-to-school fashions, leading adoptable dogs and puppies looking for a home. Greek & Middle Eastern Food Festival: This weekend, feed your appetite for fun with Greek & Middle Eastern food, music, dancing and more.
