The United States on Monday will experience its first total solar eclipse since 1979.

To celebrate the occasion, a decorated singer will perform her Grammy-nominated hit.

Bonnie Tyler is set to perform “Total Eclipse of the Heart” as The Great American Eclipse happens, according to Time magazine.

The 66-year-old Welsh woman will sing her 1983 hit aboard Royal Caribbean's “Total Eclipse Cruise" which leaves from Orlando, Fla., on Sunday en route to eastern Caribbean destinations.

“It's going to be so exciting,” Tyler told Time. “It doesn't happen very often, does it?”

Royal Caribbean International President and CEO Michael Bayley told the magazine this was a perfect fit.

“Bonnie Tyler was a natural choice for this once-in-a-lifetime moment,” he said.
