Amy Poehler will co-produce, direct and star in the new Netflix comedy feature film “Wine Country,” to be filmed partly in the Napa Valley, the entertainment trade newspaper Variety reports.

Principal photography will begin in Los Angeles and Napa later this month.

Like Poehler, several of the actors in the cast are veterans of TV’s “Saturday Night Live,” including Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Maya Rudolph and Emily Spivey.

“Wine Country” tells the story of longtime friends who go to Napa for a weekend getaway to celebrate a 50th birthday, according to the Hollywood reporter.

The script was written by “The Last Man on Earth” co-writers Spivey and Liz Cackowski, who also worked on “Saturday Night Live.”

Poehler starred with Will Ferrell in the 2017 comedy “The House” and with Fey in the 2017 comedy “Sisters,” She has directed episodes of the TV series “Parks and Recreation,” as well as starring in the show.
