The 19th annual Healdsburg Jazz Festival, scheduled to run June 2-11 at multiple venues in Healdsburg and Sonoma County, will star the Heath Brothers Band, featuring saxophonist-composer Jimmy Heath and drummer Albert “Tootie” Heath, the festival’s artistic director, Jessica Felix, announced Wednesday.

The festival will cover a wide range of jazz styles, including mainstream, modern, traditional, Latin and blues, Felix said.

Other acts will include saxophonist Joe Lovano, the John Ambercrombie Trio, guitarist Dave Stryker, the Django Festival All-Stars, Pacific Mambo Orchestra, percussionist John Santos, poet Rico Pabon, Lavay Smith and Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers, the Richardo Peixoto Trio, Callitos Medrano and Sabor De Mi Cuba, saxophonist Harvey Wainapel, and the Russian River Ramblers.

There also will be a tribute to the late vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson.

Tickets will go on sale in mid-March, with prices ranging from $20 to $75, Felix said. The festival also will include some free events.
