Jimmy Eat World rocks The Phoenix Theater in Petaluma

The local stop for the Integrity Blues tour celebrated the band's ninth studio album with the same name to a sold out crowd.|

Saturday marked the first time rock band Jimmy Eat World played in Petaluma, but singer Jim Adkins promised the crowd the band would surely be back.

The local stop of the Integrity Blues tour, in support of the group's ninth studio album "Integrity Blues," featured one of the largest light shows to grace The Phoenix Theater this year, and was arguably one of most packed concert floors, too.

The Petaluma venue even opened its balcony to cheering fans at the sold out concert, a rare movie for the theater.

In the more than 20 years Jimmy Eat World has been together, they've played all over the world and made quite a name for themselves. Saturday's show marked a rare treat for fans who have only been able to see the band at large venues, such as last month's show with Incubus at the Shoreline Amphitheater.
