Charles Schultz Redwood Empire Ice Arena, better known now as Snoopy's Home Ice Hosted the 9th Annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. A free event, this year featured Ryan Bradley, 2011 U.S. Figure Skating Championships gold medalist; Ashley Clark, 2011 Pro Skaters Virtual Skate-Off champion, and Kimberly Navarro and Brent Bommentre, two-time US Ice Dance bronze medalists. The Cast of You're a Good Man Charlie Brown and many others delighted children from all over. The arena, filled to capacity, often has to turn people away, but, this year, GM Justin Higgs and Craig Schultz made sure that everyone got in. Thanks to the Schultz Family, the 'Peanuts' legacy of Charles Schultz lives on in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County and the world. Photo's by Will Bucquoy.
