A man was killed in a Sunday morning crash on Highway 101 just south of the Marin-Sonoma county line that backed up traffic for two miles, the CHP said.
The Marin Independent Journal reported the man was a 22-year-old Rohnert Park resident. The CHP did not release the man's name because relatives had not been notified.
The crash happened about 7:45 a.m. in the northbound lane when the lone occupant of a Honda Civic overturned for unknown reasons, CHP Officer Scott Cakebread said.
One northbound lane of traffic was closed for more than two hours while crews cleared the roadway.
